Editing guest rsvp on wedding wire site

Hi Annabelle! Unfortunately guests don't have the option to edit their own RSVP, you'll need to continue to make manual changes as you've been doing. This is to protect you from your guests massively changing their responses too late or without any warning!

Since you have meal tracking enabled, your guests will see the meal choice option as they RSVP. There's no function right now that makes it a required question to RSVP, but I'll definitely pass along the feedback!

Enabling the meal tracking feature assumes that each guest must chose a selection from the drop down menu. Why give guests the option to skip this required step? Think of this situation: one guest is RSVPing for themselves and their guest. Many times they'll chose their own meal but leave their guests blank because they don't know. After hitting submit, they're now unable to go back in and change it leaving the bride or groom to go through the blank responses, contact the guest themselves and manually go in and change it. This creates so much more work for us. I highly recommend a change to this process (before my November wedding) haha!

I also am having the same issue. I see this post was from 6 years ago and obviously no changes were ever made. This already is causing so much more work for me when I have to reach out to each person to ask them what they want to eat when they didn’t do it in the first place. And I can change their response back to Pending which would allow them to make the menu choice but how much more work do I need to be doing when there is so many other things I need to do besides babysit my guests RSVPs?!?
