Early planning

I don’t think vendors will book that far out. I am having a 2 year engagement and at 18 months out venues were already booked for my date but wouldn’t take me at 25 months out. I’m now down to 13 months and still hear “oh you have time” ... really because things are booking that I want so F off lol...

We are getting married in 2021, my fiancee already started to plan the wedding, I am not very good at it but I am doing my best to find some ways to help her out and some tasks I could do to let her relax a bit.

You can start brainstorming ideas and making a Pinterest bored, but most vendors will not book you this far out. I would start contacting vendors and seriously planning at the 2 year mark.

We changed our date (between moving to a new state and Covid) and are already hearing venues for 2022 are booked for weekends in October. So yes I vote start planning way out with everything going on if a date or location are important to you. A lot of places that didnt used to book that far out are now. Just be aware that they are a stable venue so that they dont close from all the crazy of Covid!!
