Early October Honeymoon! Help! Costa Rica v. St. Lucia or Italy?

Hi,

My fiancé and I wanting to leave for our honeymoon Sept 30- Oct 9 but are torn where to go! We’d LOVE to go somewhere tropical that’s adventurous like Costa Rica or St. Lucia...but I know it’s rainy season. We’ve narrowed it down to these options but can’t decide!!
1) Chance the rain/weather and go to Costa Rica or St. Lucia
2) Wait until early December and then go (would prefer to go directly after our wedding but if the weather inhibits too many activities we’d be willing)
3) Go to Italy instead (which would be amazing but sooo much planning)

Would love opinions and advice!! We want to relax and enjoy nature but also don’t want to lay on a beach all day, we’d like to do fun things!
