Early June weddings vs covid19

Looking to see if anyone else is supposed to get married early June and if you've decided to postpone or not? I havent even mailed the invitations yet because everything feels so uncertain

I am also an early June wedding and am completely lost on what to do! I mailed our invites a little early and have seen the complete stand still of returns due to the virus. I have not heard of other people changing June weddings yet but am also interested in hearing what you and others have in mind on what to do (changing date or not)!!

I haven't yet. I honestly don't want to go through all the stress again. I'm hoping things start to get better soon. I've tried to reach out to my venue to get another opinion on if I should be postponing but they're currently not there because nonessential business are closed. I feel so stressed and guilty for worrying about this with everything going on. Smiley sad

Yes! Same exact boat! Its extremely frustrating and does give a lot of guilt since the virus is so intense, but it sucks having all the hard work put into planning and arranging be ruined too. Our venue is also closed, the coordinator is suppose to be back by Friday who we will seek some input from but not sure how she will feel either. Hopefully your venue also opens up for you to contact soon too for advise! It would be nice to look forward to continuing the celebrations of our weddings without the headaches

Definitely! Please share what they say, I'm interested. Hopefully I'll be able to talk to someone soon myself. Thanks for helping me feel less alone

I’m in the same place! I still have my invites- ready to go. I last minute created an insert to add but I still feel guilty sending them as everyone is so fearful right now.

I was thinking of inserts too! I wanted the chance to speak to my venue first but inserts seem very smart. I agree, I feel so crumby about it. Hopefully things will get better and our weddings will help cheer our friends and family.

Ours is late June, but I've been worrying and wondering about this too. As of now we're going forward with planning like it's going to happen. We will reassess end if April/ beginning of May. First conversation will be with our venue to see where they stand with still having events.
We just got our invites in too....at least we did them through Costco, so if we have to redo them it was only about $50.
I keep trying to remind myself that asuch as I don't want to postpone, I'd rather have everyone there. There would also be the benefit of more time to save money.

My wedding is June 6 and I'm going to send out my invites this week. I know everything is up in the air but I want to get them out for a few reasons 1. We spent a decent amount of money on them and I don't want them to be wasted if we do choose to postpone (if we postpone we will send change the dates) 2. if the wedding is still happening I want people to have enough notice

We are still contemplating postponing and one of the main reasons I haven't done so yet is because my venue does not have any more Saturdays for this year which would mean I would have to postpone till next year. I feel heartbroken over it because I've been planning for so long and was getting so exciting that is getting close but now I'm worried about not being able to enjoy it with everything going on. We're making our final decision about postponing by May 1 the latest.
