Dyeing your wedding veil!

Clarisbel, on March 3, 2020 at 1:27 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

Hey, so I ordered an ivory veil, and turns out they sent me a white one. I email them thinking they messed up the order and turns out that was their ivory. I started looking on google and turns out many brides go through the same thing and they dye their veils. Have any of you done this? I'm scared to try it and ruining it.

Does the store offer refunds at all?

I would contact them and tell them that you had expectations of a different colour and see if they will offer a refund out of goodwill if you return it.
If not, perhaps speak to a professional seamstress about dying the veil? I’ve dyed clothes before and it can be touch and go, particularly as you only want it to be a shade difference.

Yes, I think I would rather return it than messing it up and then not being able to have a refund.
