Dyeing your wedding dress?

DaleNovella, on September 12, 2017 at 2:14 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9

Hey y'all! I'm contemplating dip dying to tie dying a dress. I was looking for companies that specialize in this. Have any of you done this or know someone who has?

Thanks!

Check Etsy and other sites like it. I'm sure there has to be someone out there who does it.

I don't! But that sounds like an awesome idea.

I agree to check out Etsy though, you'll probably find someone there! And you can check reviews.

I'm sorry I never responded! But no I haven't yet. My wedding is far off so I'm taking my time finding the right dress. It's still on the table though. :-)

I’m having a hard time finding a bridal shop to dip dye wedding dresses. I refuse to commit to an appointment to a bridal shop that doesn’t dip dye. If anyone has suggestions or ideas in NE Florida region, please keep me posted.

I found a company that specializes in dip dyeing!! They even have a website, http://www.alteriaonline.com

I have been emailing the lady throughout the day & Marisela has been extremely helpful. Quick response to my emails & very informative about how certain fabrics will come out with dyeing. They are located in South Florida but I don't care cause I am getting my dress dyed the way I want it (once I find it!! Lol..

It would probably way easier for you to find fabric in the color you want and have them made vs dyeing something. Synthetic fibers are very hard to dye.

I was just wondering if you got your dress back from getting it dyed. How was it? How many colors did you have dyed to your dress? Was it in a timely manner?
