Drive through wedding

My fix for the corona virus is to have my wedding at my church and Facebook live it, and anyone that wants to drive by can say goodbye to us when we walk outside. I’m moving away and this was suppose to be a big send off into my new life, so this will have to do. Everyone will stay in their cars and watch the Facebook live stream, and I’ll be so happy to see some of these people I haven’t seen in so long.

I don’t know what y’all are doing, but I’d like to know what you are doing if you are still getting married but postponing the wedding celebration. I need the encouragement please

I’m sorry you are having to do your big day like this but it sounds like you’ve come up with a great alternative plan. I wish you the best of luck and it’s nice to see people making the best of it.

That's a very cute idea. My fh and i are eloping on the 18th. We are going to record it and maybe load it up on youtube so our family could watch it later. But Congratulations! However you decide to celebrate, just remember you are marrying your best friend and that is an amazing feeling.

Hi Ashley,
You're making the best of this tough situation, and that's awesome to hear! Keep your head up!
Also, FWIW - there's no time limit on future celebrations. I'm not sure where you're moving to/from, but maybe you can go back and host a party with family and friends in person once COVID-19 is behind us. Everyone will be looking for a reason to celebrate.
