Drink Fountain Ideas

Jess, on August 20, 2019 at 8:54 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4

Hello everyone,

At the entrance to my reception there will be a drink fountain. However, my FH and I cant think of what to have in the drink fountain. The fountain will be set up with the shot glasses that will be used as seating assignments with a sign saying, "Take a seat & take a shot, Tyler & Jess tied the knot"

Any suggestions are much appreciated! TIA!

Hawaiian punch!!! Lol who says its gotta be an alcoholic beverage! Plus itll surprise a bunch of people! Or soda of some kind, like cream soda or rootbeer! Or if you must do an alcoholic beverage, why not your signature cocktail?

Checked your date— if it is turning to fall where you are, id go for maybe a spiked spiced cider? (Rum and whiskey both go well, but I find rum more mild, so less polarizing [and , ya know, doesn’t make me gag lol]

i love the idea of something on theme...do you have a theme ? Haha.
A nd what are your favorite drinks ?
when in doubt, champagne is always festive

My mom is doing the traditional wine/champagne in our fountain. Maybe this will be good for those guest who doesn't want to drink hard alcohol right away but doesn't want juice or soda either. Lol

    Hey Jess!

I really like the idea of having a drink to tie in with fall and your rustic wedding style. Would you consider a spiked spiced cider? Or maybe a port sangria?
