It’s really up to you! If you love the dress you got online, you should absolutely wear that one. It may be that folks are suggesting that you go to David’s to get the “traditional” bridal experience, but if that’s not something your interested in, it’s not necessary. Wherever you get your dress, the most important thing is that it makes you happy Smiley smile

I'll probably go David's bridal and see if anything catches my eye.
I understand that they want me to get bridal experience.

I have the dress that I gotten put away , just incase if I happen to go with that one. I'll try my options out. Thanks for the advice

I spent a lot of money on my 1st wedding dress. And although I love it, it hangs in my closet. Ive searched Amazon etc and I know what I want for my 2nd and final wedding for $300. I plan to visit a few bridal shops and share my info/requests. Not sure w/ this pandemic if ordering online is a good idea so would like their feedback.

I went to David's Bridal, because they have more dresses my size than other stores I went to. Plus, they had a dress that caught my eye when I first got engaged, luckily they still had it.

I personally won't be going to David's bridal as I absolutely do not want traditional!! My dress is going to be black, follow your heart!

Of course! It's your day, do what you want! But black has always been my dream 😍. It's gonna be a ball gown with a cape rather than a veil! Super super excited!! 😩

When I first got engaged, I immediately googled "cheap white dresses" - I didn't want to spend hundreds on a dress I'll most likely only wear once.

But then I started thinking of going to David's Bridal as an opportunity to go dress-shopping with my Mom and have that mother-daughter experience. So I made an appointment, coming up in a couple months. If I find something, great - if I don't, then I'll go explore the internet again, and I'll even be wiser with a clearer idea of the style I want. I don't think I can lose by just going to a store for an hour, right?

So I totally understand why you have people telling you to check out David's Bridal (and/or other bridal shops) ... but I'm going to say what others have essentially already said: It's YOUR day, and you should wear what YOU want and do what YOU want - whether that means looking at other dresses or being happy and confident with the dress you already own.

    That is true.

I will be booking appointment soon. Just to see what's out there. If I find something great of I don't. Than that's okay too.
    I'll definitely give it a shot. 😊😊😊

It doesn’t matter where you get your dress from! If you know it’s the one, that’s all that matters in the end. I only went to David’s Bridal, but that doesn’t mean everyone else needs to do the same. To be fair, I made three separate DB trips, and one of them was to a store out of state. If that dress on Amazon is the one you want, then go for it! At the same time, if you want to go to David’s Bridal once or twice just for the heck of it, then by all means go.

I’m personally not a fan of Dsvids Bridals. I didn’t find their quality as nice of somebody other bridal shops I went to but certainly they do have nice dresses that are affordable.

I’m all for Amazon or Etsy or any other place! I looked on Amazon but didn’t find exactly what I wanted. Then I got a dress from Etsy that was made to my body measurements but I didn’t like it or the color once it arrived. Buying online is so hard when you want a specific pink. I actually found a dress in a bridal/prom/quinceanera dress shop in a mall. I wanted a pink dress that isn’t super weddingish and that’s what I got. I saw a teen girl take the same dress to the dressing room to try on for prom lol! My bridesmaids did find their dresses at David’s but I left it up to them to choose. It was easier to do that for them because it’s a chain and I have people from other states in the wedding.

I went to David's Bridal and had the best experience! I suck at online shopping for clothes, especially dresses. I have to physically go and try clothes on.

Ultimately, the decision is up to you and only you!
