Okay, so I am 7 weeks out and my dress WONT ZIP. I am freaking out. I am a nurse, so I know how to exercise and eat properly, but I have truthfully neglected that. I am re-starting again today forsure! I guess I’m looking for support. I feel like I’m the only one who let the stress get to me... I’m...

Thank you for sharing. As hard as it is, just try to relax, drink some water and try to give up one sweet until the wedding. I am so terrible with soda!! Your dress is beautiful by the way. All the best luck ✨

You got this!!! You don’t have much to zip it up! You still have time to lose what you need to. I have confidence that it’s maybe 5 pounds due to the look of the back which will be easy it not like it’s 50 pounds you need to get rid of. You will be Beautiful in that dress!! Good luck!

    You aren't the only one!

    Dress Wont Zip 1

It fit fine at my second fitting, but not at the third. The seamstress told me that stress makes our bodies do weird things and to try and lose weight if I can but don't stress otherwise, she'll let it out if she has to.

My wedding is next Sunday, and my fourth fitting is on Monday. I've been counting calories since the third fitting on May 1 and I've lost 8lbs since then. I think it will zip but we'll see.

Personally, I am not a fan of restrictive diets. I believe in everything in moderation. You can lose weight eating nothing but twinkies as long as you're under your burn rate in calories (although you'd be pretty malnourished!). I lost 110lbs after my son was born purely counting calories. I unfortunately gained a bunch back during my divorce.

7 weeks! Very doable! If you just cut sugar and bread for a couple weeks it'll melt off!

My suggestion is from now til the wedding it to eat a low carb foods and that dress will zip up with no problem whatsoever. But you have to been disciplined!
