Dress regret ladies - Did you keep the dress? Are you happy you did?

I had the same feeling! Love my dress but I've just always envisioned a mermaid/form fitting dress and I can't imagine marrying my FH in the dress I picked. Since I do love the dress and it was expensive/nonrefundable I'm going to keep it for the reception. It's also easy to walk/move in. I'm going to buy a second dress for the ceremony so that I can marry him in the dress I always envisioned. After reading everyone's comments on the post I texted my MOH and her first response was if I feel this way I should definitely get a new one haha so I have an appointment Saturday.

Have you had a chance to put it on again? Usually putting it on again makes you fall in love with it!

Try to remember what you loved about the dress. I had some dress regret too for a while, but I put it on again and fell right back in love. I think there's so much hype around "the" dress that when you find it, your brain starts playing tricks on you.

I'm sure you'll love it again, especially when you're all dolled up ready to walk down the aisle!

Yeah I think I will, but even when I bought it there was a small part of me thinking this wasn't what I initially wanted.I thought I would get over it but I haven't so I'm just going to get a second and use them both I guess

It's all about the feeling! When the consultant brought my dress into the fitting room (she actually picked it), I thought it was so ugly. But when I put it on, it completely transformed. It was the most unique dress I have ever had on and the material is light and comfortable. I didn't want to take it off. That is how you know that it is the right dress for you. You want to be comfortable on your wedding day! If you love the dress, you will be radiant in it!
