I'm posting this a second time. First time was on my phone and it wouldn't let me add pictures... Ok, so we were originally getting married at San Francisco city hall and doing a smaller restaurant reception so dress shopping I went. I fell in love with 2 very different dresses. I was torn 50/50. Bought Dress 1. Then our whole wedding changed. Location and style. We are now doing a more traditional outside ceremony and ballroom/banquet reception. I've had a few freak out moments and sh** hit the fan last night. I broke down crying, I don't think I like my dress. It's already paid for but I'm still considering getting the other one I tried on and also loved (and possibly trying on even more dresses). Dress 1 which is purchased is a lace form fitting dress, looking at the pictures now I"m not sure I like how revealing it is for my boobs. Although, it hugs me in all the right places I'm a little uneasy for some reason. I'm a DDD natural and have nursed my daughter so I just don't want to feel too revealing and like I'm going to be worrying all night about how saggy or perky they look. Dress 2 is a show stopping ball gown that I love! When will I ever get the chance to wear a big dramatic ball gown. I struggle with looking sexy and showing off my body and the dramatic ball gown that doesn't show much of my shape. And I take the chance of not being able to resell my lace dress and lose all that money. Help please! Honest opinions appreciatedSmiley smile Oh I'm also going to try on an overskirt with the lace and see if that helps any. I think I'm scared I'm going to miss out on the big fancy ball gown look if I stick with my "vintage look" lace dress.

Dress #1 looks show stopping on you and I wouldn't for a second think that you shouldn't be showing off your figure! However, you look great in the second one as well so if you are more comfortable with that one you should go with it.

This coming from a die-hard ballgown lover, you look AMAZING in the first dress and I actually like it way better than the second. If you loved it once don't let yourself get cold feet! Nobody is going to be criticizing or picking apart your body, especially because it's freakin' perfect. I've seen much skimpier on much larger ladies, and still not thought much of it. You look nice in both but the first one looks like you stepped out of a magazine. And I don't say stuff like that lightly, I really don't.

But if you really can't get past it, how much time do you have? There's probably enough time to order a different one, but you definitely won't get full retail trying to sell the dress.

Love the lace dress!!! If you think it’s too much boob, you can see if they can add an illusion panel, so there’s a little something connecting the straps there and holding everything in, if you’re a little self-conscious about it. But I’m all for vintage, love the lace, dress looks amazing on you! Absolutely beautiful! The other dress, I’m just not a fan of ball gown. You look beautiful in both, but the lace takes it to another level!!!

Oh wow I equally love both of them! You look beautiful in both of them, they look like they were designed for you. Since you already have the lace dress try the an over skirt first. Then if you still want to go with the ballroom dress go for it!

If you buy the 2nd dress, could you wear 1 for the ceremony and 1 for the reception? I LOVE them both

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for taking the time to respond and help me out!! So i talked to my bridal consultant and I won't have to pay for the remaining balance of the dress, phew. I made an appointment to go try them on again and maybe a few others on Friday. She said not to rush my decision. I was also thinking of adding crinoline to the bottom for more poof like some if you have suggested and maybe a bling belt and/or overskirt. Can I just wear both?! haha. I think I would love the lace even more if it I had got all white, I'm not loving the nude underlay but it is still a gorgeous dress and I did feel amazing in it. Can I fuse the two together somehow? Get that figure hugging dress but with that drama and pure classic feel of the ball gown? haha. I'll see what happens on Friday. Still feeling very anxious about this decision! I appreciate you all!

The first dress literally must have been MADE FOR YOU! It is absolutely stunning on you. So my vote is with dress one. The ball gowns looking beautiful on you as well, but number one just knocks it out of the water.

Dress#1 looks beyond amazing on you! But dress#2 is so gorgeous and you look so happy in the pictures in it. It’s still very sexy and that back is to die for! If you can’t decide, what about getting a ball gown skirt to go over dress#1 and then taking it off for the reception?

Both of these dresses are amazing!! They look equally as great on you, so I can definitely see where the frustration is coming from. I haven't read through the comments, so I apologize if this is repeating someone, but would it be possible to have both? Wear one for the ceremony and one for the reception? I'm not much help because I LOVE both, but I am partial to the more form fitting dresses!

You look stunning in both! I love the lace detail on dress # 1 . Dress # 2 is my favorite.
