I was surprised that it looked good too. I knew that the sweetheart or whatever neckline would be good... But never imagined the mermaid. It fits a bit va-voom with something soft. The lace is killer.

This is difficult they are both beautiful and change your style completely. Which one do you see going best with the theme you are trying to accomplish for your wedding? Or which one do you think your FH would prefer? I was stuck between two dresses and I decided by trying to guess which pick my FH would like 😍

My FH would love dress 1. But it finally has enough soft for me too. We joke that there's 2 sides of me... I feel like dress 1 reps both sides of me.

Now you'll all fall over... Dress 1 is a Pronovias with Spanish lace. I got it for $299 - that's not a typo.. . Dress 2 is Eddy K - still stunning, but so is the price at $1500+tax. I love lace ...

So, we're all good with me not moving forward with the Aline? I think they'll let me use my deposit toward something else. They said no refunds or exchanges, but I didn't buy it - just put the deposit on it. Still, even with the deposit my new dress (a store sample) is hundreds less. So - still worth it!

I'd been thinking (and FH has made a few subtle comments) that he'd like some sexy in there. And I knew my dress wasn't that. But, I also was uncomfortable with spending another 1k on a dress given all the rescheduling that's been going on... I kept trying to figure out how to spice the other one up. Dress 1 was the idea of a trusted friend. And I am so glad!

Awww - thank you! That makes me feel better. I was really on the fence. I'm so glad that I tried it. I love it ... It's elegant, a bit va-voom- and romantic. That's hard to pack into 1 dress! No wonder I was having such a hard time finding it!
