I had been planning on doing these for months, and I'm so in love with how all my sola flower bouquets came out! The bouquets are actually simple to put together, but definitely time consuming. I spent a good couple of hours just on the handles over the last couple days. I spent Saturday with 4 of my bridesmaid and they helped a ton with stemming the flowers. I also let them arrange their own bouquet to make it a bit more special.

I spent roughly $200 total. This included about $90 worth of sola flowers, $50 in filler flowers, and the rest in supplies (such as floral tape, wire stems, hot glue, etc) and shipping costs. With that, I was able to create my bouquet, my toss bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 7 boutonnieres, 2 corsages, and 13 arrangements for my centerpieces, and 10 flowers left over. I averaged out the costs to be about $22 for my bouquet, and $7/ea for the BMs bouquets. The centerpieces aren't finished to show, but I will when they are complete.

    @Ally - absolutely!

    If anyone plans on doing this and ever has any questions on how I did something, just let me know. I'll show photos of how I put on the handles later tonight when I finish my toss bouquet.

    Here is how I did the handle. All the wire and filler are held together with floral tape. I cut toilet paper rolls to size and hot glued them to the tape. I ran out of hot glue so I couldn't finish the bottom but I think you can get the idea. I used fabritac to glue on the lace.

    For the bottom of the handle I just stuffed the pieces of the toilet paper roll to make it a flat surface and filled in the gaps with hot glue. There is probably some other easily way to do this, but it worked for me. I just glued the end of the twine in the center, let that dry and spiraled/wrapped it until it met where I stopped on the top.

    Starting the twine wrapping: I hot glued the end to the roll and wrapped twine on top of it to hold it down

    Rough idea on how I stuffed the bottom. I'll be adding more plus hot glue before I'll actually be wrapping the bottom.

    Finished bottom from a different bouquet. I added a bit of hot glue to the center just to be sure it doesn't move.

    I also wanted to mention that it would work better to use paper towel rolls. Using two toilet paper rolls does create an uneven look in some parts of the handle. No one is really likely to notice, but it is one thing I would change if I could. I just didn't have the paper towel rolls haha.

    I hope this helps!

    Awesome!!! Thank you so much for all of this info! I have my flowers, have dyed the ones I want to and did a test run on the flower girls bouquet. I still have to do her handle, I just wast sure how to approach it. I am using twine as well. What filler flowers did you use? I got German stattice and it is super stiff and hard to work with!

    Thank you ladies!

    @SpringBride16 - I bought most of them from save-on-crafts.com. I bought some from SuperiorCraftSupply on etsy, who is also very reasonably priced.
