Down the Aisle Help

You could have a designated seat for him to be in near the middle on whichever side, he could stand and walk the rest of the way and then be seated where you would like him to be for the ceremony

Maybe he can sit near the aisle. And when you and your Dad approach where he is sitting. Than your step Dad can stand and than all three of you continue to walk down the aisle.

To have him join in the middle there, maybe rather than him just joining you, your dad could do some sort of action denoting him inviting your step dad to join you both? then it would be clear hes meant to be joining you

Have you thought about having them both walk you down the aisle from the beginning? You could have one on each side of you. A friend of mine did that and it was beautiful and everyone was emotional.

I have the same problem And was thinking the same thing. I was thinking of having my dad walk me down then stepdad would be standing next to the last row of seats and when we get to him he will walk with us.

Have you talked to your dad... I know your feeling im having my brother walk me half way and my dad will get me in the middle

I am very close to my god dad. When I was talking to my dad about walking me down he asked me and where dose your other dad come in.( They are best friends he has been there since the day I was born) My god dad is walking me to my dad and hanging me off to him then my dad will walk me the rest of the way. Then he will walk behind us. This way they each have a moment with me. Then when we get to the front my dad, god dad, mom, and god mom will all stand with me while the officiant ask who gives me to this man. Its what we came up with.

Hi ReNita! This is a really sweet idea to incorporate them both.

What could work, is if you step-dad took a seat alongside the aisle, halfway down, so he could pop up and continue walking with ya'll then.

Do you think this could work? Or have you come up with some other solution in the meantime?

Not really because he doesn't care. I mentioned it to him once and he said "I don't care just tell me what to do"

This is what I'm leaning more towards. I just need to make sure my aisle is wide enough because I have a huge train.

I haven't come up with anything set in stone yet but this is an option I'm considering, along with having them both walk me down from the beginning.

Perhaps speak with your dad and step-dad, and see which option they are comfortable with. It sounds like they're both supportive of whatever you would like to do, which is great

Yes they are for sure. I may go with both of them walking me because my step-dad is convinced he'll look like a dummy (his term lol) getting up in the middle of me walking.

I think having your step dad meet you half way is an awesome idea. Rather than having him just stand there so he doesn't feel awkward, he could always sit on the end chair, you and your dad have a slight pause when you get to him, and then walk to your FH
