Huge fan of donuts here! That being said, I don’t really dig donuts in lieu of wedding cakes.

If you're having a brunch wedding/reception, then sure, serve donuts as part of the brunch, but other than that, NO! I agree with pp about donuts needing to be served fresh or they are gross, and even then they have limited appeal. A donut for dessert at an evening reception is a definite "no" for me. As an alternative to cake, my perception is, "donuts were cheaper, so we went for it." If there is a full dessert table with lots of options, I guess they are an option. And, please, no donut walls.... (Best story we heard while shopping for daughter's venue was a coordinator who told us about a bride who wanted a donut wall for her dessert, but ordered donuts without holes.... The staff, literally, smashed the solid donuts over the pegs on the wall.... I kind of wish I could have seen that!)

I'd be into it in addition to cake. Wedding cake is my favorite thing about weddings.

Over it, along with the cupcake tower trend. I just don't get it. But I don't really care for donuts. And an actual cake looks much nicer than a stack of donuts or cupcakes.

I like it, I think it's a great way to personalize your wedding. I still wouldn't trade my cake for donuts though.

No into it or over it. I'm indifferent. I haven't personally seen it done at a wedding. I know it's a trend, but I would rather have cake.

As much as I love donuts and as cheap as they are, I just can’t get into this one.

Over it. I love donuts, but it's ok to be traditional sometimes...

Over it, but I find most doughnuts to be too sugary for my taste, as it is.

Into it. We are doing it, since neither FH nor I really like the taste of wedding cakes.

I'm over it. I love donuts, don't get me wrong but at a wedding? I was surprised when I heard about doughnut walls and stuff like that at weddings. Something screams unsanitary about it. Maybe if they were all packaged nicely in a box or something, then maybe.

Not for a wedding. So I'm over it. I think this would be great for the bridal shower.

Into it only as long as the donuts are chocolate with chocolate sprinkles 😋
