Doubts on my wedding dress

Destenie, on February 11, 2020 at 1:27 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8
My wedding is this November I ended up going with this dress. When I tried it on, I really liked this one compared to 3 others I tried on. But now I'm just having 2nd thoughts and thinking it's too plain and doesnt have that wow factor. I'm not sure if I'm doing a church wedding or just doing it at the reception venue that will have 230 people (if that even adds to anything) what are your opinion, thoughts on the dress? I think it's simple, yet elegant. Honestly, I'm pretty sure EVERYONE has second thoughts about the dress they chose. I bought my literal dream dress, and I'm still wondering if I should have kept looking! It doesn't hurt to go back out and try some more on if you're realizing this one may not be the one you want.

    I think it's pretty. Maybe you can accessorize it with a belt or something that'll give it more bling or sparkle

    I think it’s so gorgeous!!! I also second guessed my dress so I went back and tried it on again with one person who I knew would be completely impartial. I really recommend going back and trying it on, even alone! If anything it’ll just calm your nerves about it!

    I love it!!

    I think it’s normal to doubt your dress. I doubt mine when I see people in their dresses because I think I don’t look good in mine anymore or it’s not bridal enough. Don’t compare yours to others! Your dress is beautiful and beautiful on you

    Beautiful train and looks good on you. You have time why not try on other dresses and see if you can exchange? That's what I am doing and I am getting married in November.

    I think it’s beautiful on you... you can add a belt wear your hair up/ half down-half up or pinned to one side with dangly earrings and a tiara to get the look you’re going for.

    I found my perfect dress on my first visit to the salon, but had major fomo/anxiety so I set up a second try-on appointment. I tried on a bunch of new dresses and my dress last, and I knew immediately when I tried my dress on again that I had made the right decision. Definitely try on more dresses and then try yours on again. You’ll know what to do, and you’ll have the peace of mind to stop second guessing. If you bought your dress at David’s bridal you can still return for I think 60 days after your dress actually comes in. Go for it!

    I think it's pretty!! You have to remember that you don't have bridal makeup or hair done.

    The other things you can do to jazz it up are

    * A more detailed/ornate veil / longer in length to create the drama

    * Belt

    * bigger statement pieces in your jewelry

    I second guessed my dress and tried on others. The more I tried on others the more I realized I loved mine Smiley heart
