You can absolutely walk alone! Or with your mom or a close friend.

Brides walk alone all the time! You could also have your mom walk you down, your kids (if you have any), a grandfather/mother, uncle/aunt. Anyone you are super close to.

I went to a friends wedding this past weekend and she was never close to her dad. So her brother walked her.

You can do whatever you want! You can walk by yourself, have your mom or a close family member walk you, you could walk halfway down on your own and have your FH meet you halfway and walk the rest of the way together - totally up to you!

I was curious about this also. My parents divorced when I was young and he kind of screwed us over and left us homeless but anyway. My mom remarried and I was thinking about having my stepdad walk me but I know if I invite my dad he will start problems if he doesn't get to walk me down the aisle. He is the definition of an entitled parent. He was distant also.
