Dollar Tree diy Center Piece ideas

Rozenbook, on January 16, 2018 at 9:23 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 55

Anyone care to share their Dollar Tree (DT) center pieces or inspiration pics? I am looking for ideas. my theme is elegant/classy, but pics and ideas help since I can see some elements I may like and try to come up with something I like. This may also help others who are looking for DT center piece ideas. If not Dollar Tree, maybe DIY very low cost centerpieces.

Have you looked at Pinterest? I have found so many great ideas from there and even a section on Dollar Tree items to use for decor.

I got three different tiered vases from DT and filled them with water and floating candles (in bulk on amazon) and got a silver charger from DT and little votives too. Going to add some eucalyptus to go around the candles.... super pretty, simple, and around $10 Per table!

FutureMrsHays - can you try a larger doily? Everything seems a bit cramped right now trying to fit on the small doily.

This is my inspo pick, but instead of the napkin and wine glasses I'm doing a circular mirror underneath (FMIL has a ton of them, and I bought some more from a FB resale group) and maybe votive candles, haven't decided on that part yet. The vases are from dollar tree and can be ordered online in sets of 12, you can get the stones there as well but you're probably able to get them in bulk for cheaper from a local wedding resale group, that's what I did. The flowers will be artificial, I found them on Amazon for $8 for a stem of 11 of the kind I want, and same with floating candles. The cost of each centerpiece will be about $12 without the votive candles, and closer to $20 with votives.

The vases are almost all from the dollar store (with the exception of a few I got at acmoore 2 for $1) the letters are from acmoore, and the flowers are majority dollar store, with the exception of a few I splurged on from acmoore. Youtube has so many DIY dollar store centerpieces it is crazy! I recommend looking there and watching a few videos for inspiration.

I got hardback books from the clearance section of a used book store for less than $1 a piece (bogo sale) and they're in our wedding colors. I'll remove the dust jackets and set a glass cylindrical vase on it, lined with either my FH sheet music or my short story, tie a ribbon around it and then two paper flowers in the vase.

Check on YouTube, there are tons of amazing videos you can get inspiration from for cheap but beautiful centerpieces. Mine is not completely done, and I'm still waiting in some flowers but here it is:

Look for submersible tea lights! I found some in a FB wedding group, but they can also be bought on Amazon.

Trial CenterpiecesDollar Tree diy Center Piece ideas 5

Here is my trial centerpieces. I think I will either go with Pip Berries or leaves in the water instead of roses. I bought the vases and leaves from the dollar store. I also have glass votives that I bought wholesale online (cheaper than the dollar store) and I am staining them teal with food coloring and mod podge and putting candles in them too. I think whatever centerpiece you find that you like (I found mine on Pinterest), you will be able to recreate with items from the dollar store or cheaper online. Good luck!

I'm alternating between floral arrangements and candles in cases. I'm doing three different size vases with floating candles (and maybe flowers as pictured). On a pretty charger with votives around it. Just an idea but the display below can be made with dollar tree cases
