Dollar dance

@LindseyO I posted a basic definition of a bridal dance stating that it was a southwest PA tradition and what I thought was rude and tacky was how some people were being judgemental b****** and my post was deleted because name calling is against community guidlines when litterally every other thread I've read has some form of mean comments and name calling.

Read up on the Community Guidelines (CGs).

One of the big rules: you can call an idea dumb but you can't call a person dumb.

Also what is considered mean, what is bullying, and what is offensive is strictly enforced. Just because you personally don't like it doesn't mean it goes against the CGs.

It's always the people calling all of us mean that end up violating the community guidelines. I guess they should look in the mirror.

IT'S NOT A SOUTHWEST PA TRADITION. I have tons of friends from Pittsburgh and have gone to several weddings there. NO ONE DID A DOLLAR DANCE. Why? Because they aren't cheap AF and have class.

@alyssa I didn't know that was a thing and I am cringing right now.

I actually never even heard about this or a money tree at wedding untill FH's family basically demanded that we had both. I think it's awkward and too much risk. What if someone steals the money from the tree or floor (not even sure how dollar dances work) and then you have to dance with ALL of those people. Yikes, my anxiety just went up thinking about that.
