Doing my own make up for my wedding

That looks so good !!! I feel like in your case, doing your own makes sense.

It's up to you but you bring up a good point. Makeup isn't generally that expensive to get done and you can save yourself a lot of stress. You want to be pampered on your day and not stressed!

I did my own makeup for my wedding and I highly recommend it for anyone who is good at doing there own makeup. It was the best decision I could have made, I knew I would not be happy if someone else did my makeup because I know my face and how I like my makeup being a certain way. I say go for it!

I’d say to relax and let someone do your makeup. I’m sure if you provide this pic and a few up close of the eyes, your MUA will be able to recreate the look.

I definitely thought about this for my wedding as well but something my FH brought up is that you’ll probably be extremely nervous/stressed already that day. What if it does not come out the exact way you thought it would and you get upset over it? Or it makes you feel bad? You look amazing! I’m just scared the nerves would kill you. I think overall you would feel more calm and collected with a MUA ❤️ That is if you’re as much as a nervous wreck as I am! Lol. You’re gorgeous!

Do your own brebaje since you do make up you may not be satisfied with someone else. I might do my own bc pues is a destination and no time so trials not taking a chance. I am having s make up artist yeah me how to do it. Or do a trial with someone and if you like them do your own. Of all stressors the day of i don't feel doing your own make up would be one. I considered making my own cake would could be especially the transportation part.

I ssy do your own. Nothing worse than having someone else do it then you don't approve it.

I would say get it done so that you can relax day of, but I think you did a great job, very pretty and natural! You just need to find someone who can create your vision.

If you’re comfortable doing it then I say save the money and do it yourself.

I can do my own makeup and I know I love a more natural look. The last time i had a MUA do my makeup, I looked awful. So overdone and not myself at all.
Ultimately, I found a professional who lives for the natural look, so I hired her! My fear was that my makeup wouldn't be a right fit for photography, and of course the stress of making sure I looked perfect would overwhelm me.
Your makeup looks great and I think you'd be fine to do it yourself and save a few hundred. If you do choose to hire someone for the purpose of a stress free day, just look at a bunch of their work and find someone who you feel compatible with!

The look in the picture is beautiful! If I could do my makeup like that, I would definitely be doing my own. I also feel like I would be too critical or stress with someone else doing it.

Honestly I have heard of so many brides wiping off their makeup on the day and doing it themselves because it didnt turn out right. If you KNOW you could do it the way that would make you feel the most beautiful then go for it! Spend time on yourself, play some music and unwind and take that time to be by yourself!

Those eyebrows are on fleek! I'm so jealous of your makeup skills haha I'm determined to do my own makeup because I don't trust other people to do it the way I want. But I'm not that good at it tbh

I do my own makeup and I've been contemplating whether or not I want to do it myself or hire someone. Like you I know my face and I know how I want it done. There's only one other mua I trust to do my makeup and since my wedding is out of town I doubt I'll be able to book her.

Girl, your makeup looks great! I'm a cosmetologist and I had the same debate - do I hire someone or do it myself? I'm just going to do my own hair and makeup, because I can, and because I already paid $20K to go to school for it! Might as well put my skills to good use! LOL. Plus I am also picky as heck and can't have anyone just doing crazy things to my eyebrows!!

My maids are doing their own hair and makeup, too, but I'm going to help them out if they need it. We're doing trial makeup together at a sleepover another night to make it fun for each of us and to vote on what looks good or not.

Girl do you own make up, it looks spectacular! wow I wish I could hire you but I live in Miami. But what lashes are those, i'm having a problem finding lashes, I tried a few from ABH and did not like too much. But really, you are really good at doing make-up ...specially eye brown they can be tough to do. Best luck!

The makeup in the picture is really lovely. I have had several trials and experiences with pros in the past, and even though I’m no pro, I feel the most confident when I do my own. I feel like I can’t trust anyone more than I can trust myself lol. I did my own for my engagement photos and loved the way they came out. The only way I’d see myself going with a pro is if I had no experience or skill whatsoever. People have hated on the way I do my makeup in the past, but I really believe that if YOU love it, that is all that matters!
