I would check with your vet clinic! A lot of times vet techs will puppy sit for their patients. That is how we ended up finding our doggy sitter. It works out perfectly because it’s someone your dog is already comfortable and familiar with; plus they know what to do in the case of an emergency (CPR, Heimlich, etc.). And if none of them offer those services, they could likely give you recommendations of people they know in the industry who are trustworthy

I use the Rover app for pet care. We met with the sitter in advance to make sure our pets got along.

I also use Rover. You can hire someone to just come let your dog out mid-day if you or someone else is going to be going back to your house after the wedding. That’s what I plan on doing in September

Specifically for our dog, we use Camp Bow Wow for boarding (we've used it both in SC and FL). They have you do an interview where your dog interacts with the others in a day camp and if they "pass", you are allowed to board your dog and partake in social interaction throughout the day. For our cats, we use Rover as they get a little social interaction and can stay at home.
