Does EVERYTHING have to match?!

So I know a lot of you got your flutes and server set from Oriental Trading. I have ordered some for weddings before and I love them. But I also saw gorgeous ones on Things Remembered. Of course there's a huge price difference between them but I don't really care about that.

My wedding colors are red (the nice, bright, love red) and a tiny splash champagne gold (light, soft gold).

All the flutes I like are silver. They don't do them in gold. The flutes would be in our sweetheart table which won't have much gold. And the server set would be with the cake table.

I know this is silly but I want to ask you ladies if it's okay before I show my mother and she freaks out lol

I don't think the flutes have to match, especially because I'm assuming the forks, spoons, knives, etc are going to be silver.

I don't think they have to match. Especially since the flutes will be at your table with you and the serving set will be at the cake table. I think it's fine.

@FKH too the words out of my mouth. Unless you are using gold silverware (I have seen it my grams has a lovely matching set-true story) They will look fantatsic!

I agree with Future KH. I'm thinking the flutes wouldn't have to match your gold decor.

I also ordered the double rings from Things Remembered. I loved them!
