Does anyone know how much makeup artist normally run when doing a bridal party??What did u pay?

I'm having a MUA and hairstylist come to our hotel. She's giving us hair 50.00 each and makeup 50.00 each. Flowergirl hair is 20.00 I thought is sounded fair enough. And actually thought it was going to be much more. Everything wedding related is always so inflated. She may be giving me slight discount b/c she is cousin to one of my bridesmaids, but I'm not sure on that one. Oh,and trial not included. Same prices for trial. I think that is fair. She is spending the same, if not more, time figuring out how you want your hair and MU done.

@SoontobeMrsGlover, how many BMs do you have. Because they may be a resonable price if there are many of you.

Mine is $125 and the BM are $75

@Tash, its one maid of honor, two bridesmaids, and both of our moms so 6 total

I paid $150 for Hair trial, make-up/hair the day of. No one else paid to get their hair done but my artist was going to Charge them $75 each for hair and makeup. I could've done my make-up myself. I got ripped off.

My salon offers $31/BM for makeup, Bride is free. And $57pp for updo (which I'm not using)

@SoontobeMrsGlover, so essentially it's $75 per person? That's not that bad, but I would shop around for cheaper prices. Try going to the MAC store like I did.

Make up is the one thing that I am saving for. I want to look my best that day. I do makeup on the side and in the salon and it comes out great but I have a horrible time doing my own. idk why lol.

I got a quote for someone to come to be it will be $125 w/ airbrush foundation and fake lashes for me and $85 per girl air brush foundation and fake lashes. A couple girls are probably only going to want the foundation.

I've found a few MUA who do the neutral look for $50 a BM and they charge $75 for the bride but those prices are with out getting hair done. Hair costs $30 per BM and $50 for the bride depending on the style and if she needs any hair pieces. Thank god my MOH is a MUA she does my make up for a lot of the event we go to and I always look amazing.

Mine is $185 includes trial and lashes, and $65 for each bridesmaid. She will be traveling to us the morning of the wedding. You definitely get what you pay for, so check around with different artists in your area, and definitely do a trial first!

Total I paid $267... That included my trial run, my make up, and 5 BP members. Also a kit she left for me to touch up with!
