I would definitely do alphabetical. Much easier for your guests to find their name that way.

^^ They're all right. Alphabetical. It's easier for people to find their names that way, rather than having to pore over each table grouping until they find their name

Alphabetical. And don't have them put the escort cards at the very entrance to the venue or you get a giant bottleneck.

Our venue puts them out in alphabetical by last name

I started to and then just by letter. My doc fixed it for me at the venue. She said she had never seen so many of the same last names before
