Do rsvp and Invitations go out the same day perhaps in the same envelope? Just planning ahead

Save the dates usually go out before you send out the invites. Usually on the Save the dates it will say invite to follow. Save the dates are especially helpful for out of town guests and if your having a destination wedding. When you send out our invitations there is usually a RSVP card and envelope for your guest to send back. These should be mailed together. Hope that helps!

Save the dates are optional. Some people opt for them, most often with OOT guests, others just because they like the idea!

As far as your invitation and RSVP cards, they belong in the same envelope, so they will go out at the same time. Also, remember to put postage on your RSVP cards and DON'T seal the envelopes. (I sealed 2 before realizing what I was doing, lol.)

In addition, make sure you order an invitation larger than the RSVP card so the card and it's envelope will fit in the envelope for the invitation. I initially was going to order one style of invite without realizing it would be too small to fit all that stuff inside. I realized it last second and ordered the larger one.

We are sending save the dates out as we have OOT individuals.

Good comment Future Mrs. Mash about putting stamps on the RSVP's. My RSVP's will be postcards instead of a card with an envelope...I wanted to save a little money.

Yes, they go out together. The RSVP will have it's own envelope, which you need to address to come back to you, and put a stamp on.

Then that goes in the bigger envelope with the actual invitation.
