Do I invite officiant and wedding planner to rehearsal dinner?

Yes. You invite both to the rehearsal dinner.

I think the planner does, because they organize the order don't they?? I am not sure so good question lol.

If either one is going to be at the rehearsal, they get an invite. If not, there is no need.

We didn't have a planner, but we invited our JP and his wife to our rehearsal dinner and our reception. They declined both.

I treat officiate as a guest. Planner is more tricky, she is a vendor.

I think it depends on the relationship you have with each of those individuals. Our officiant is a Pastor that I've known for awhile. We don't have the same relationship with our planner, however we will likely extend the invitation if she'd like to come.

Our JP said he never attends rehearsals, because everyone knows where he will be.... at the altar! Lol. We met with him early on and before we left, he gave us a cardboard cutout of his FACE with a stick and said have someone hold it up there during the rehearsal.... so we DID!! He has a great sense of humor (which is why we hired him...) it was a great ceremony with just the right amount of sentiment mixed in with a little humor because we are both super silly and love to have fun So hired a JP to compliment us as a couple.
