Gel lasts a lot longer & is easier on your nails. I dont have a pic for you but you should be able to find some on Google. Gel nails tend to be less expensive as well

Please do not use GEL anything....yes its last however if you do not intend on keeping it forever it really damages your nail. Acrylic will also do the same thing. The new SNS or powder as it is usually called, is applied by dipping your finger into powder which happens to be colored. It is supposed to be better for your nails and healthier. Personally I have used acrylic, gel, and the new powder or dipped mails and all three damaged my real nail. If you do not wear artificial nails constantly and only want them for the wedding get them and then please go soak them off. Do not pull or lift them off. I also found that I was told the SNS lasts 3-4 weeks as is gel polish however for me Acrylic lasts 1 week to 10 days and they lift off, gel polish which is supposed to last 3 weeks for me only lasts about a week and a half and the dipped nails lasted 2 weeks before they lifted off. Each person is different. On my daughter the SNS last almost a month.

Use gel. Acrylic destroys your nails. However, don't use it permanently - it uses UV light to cure it, which I'm sure is fine in the quantity we're talking about, but you really don't want to expose any part of your body to UV light like that for too long (outside of sunlight obviously).

    It’s personal preference.

I’d suggest SNS powder or gel.

It’s up to you which look you like the best.

    Hi Future Mrs. Esparza!

Acrylic nails are nice if you want longer nails for the big day. Gel nails, on your natural nail length, is cheaper and lasts longer. It just depends what kind of nail vision you are going for, for your big day.

Do you have any nail inspo pictures in mind? Do you want longer nails or are you okay with the length yours are?

This is pretty much what my nail tech (and Moh!) is going to do for me. She’ll put tips on me and do the gels. She doesn’t even do acrylics anymore because she doesn’t like them.

I use acrylic. I like my nails to be a little thicker. And when I get them taken off at the salon my nails are perfectly fine. However, I naturally have strong nails that grow fast. Acrylic lasts two weeks before I have to get them off or get a fill in because of how fast they grow. You can get short acrylics, which is what I do because I hate super long nails. Here is the ombré I had done a few weeks ago. Lasted forever and could hardly tell when it was growing out because it looked natural.

I have gel tips and polish, (my natural nails are normally pretty weak). I get mine done about every 3-4 weeks.

I highly recommend the dip nails. Ben doing them for months and 1000x better than even gel.

While neither are very good to your nail, I love how long gel lasts and how I don't have to worry about adding to my natural nails. Here is my gel manicure a week after getting it, and I did some heavy lifting of rough wood, tables, chairs during that time which should have demolished my nails if I didn't do gel. Sorry the picture was more of a ring pic but you can see a few nails...

The gel is more flexible than acrylic. Sometimes I have shattered my acrylic nail so I switched to gel. You could also get a gel polish which is stronger form of nail polish. Last forever and great if you dont usually like to get your nails done.

I definitely suggest the dip powder. It won’t chip because it’s not a paint. It looks really really good after and they say it’s better for your nails

I recommend the dip nails! I did them for the first time a few weeks ago for my bridal shower and they lasted a good amount of time for me. I work as a veterinary assistant, so any manicure I get doesn't last very long, but these lasted about 2 weeks of working at the clinic. They also made my natural nail feel strong. I do recommend getting them taken off professionally though afterwards. I took mine off after getting solution from Ulta that was recommended, but it still did damage to my natural nails.

This ombre french manicure inspo is gorgeous! Smiley heart I also love this style.

I would definitely recommend a gel manicure then, as it will be your normal nail length but much more durable and won't chip as easily as regular polish. Smiley heart
