What did you guys budget for a DJ? Did you go over? I thought $1K was a good number but apparently I'm very low?

    Dependent on location... I paid $1270 for ceremony and reception in Northwest Ohio.

    Mine was less than $1000 for all day, ceremony and reception. We are in STL, Missouri.

    I was quoted about $450 for 4 hours, but that's JUST the dj...no lighting or effects. I'm outside of Atlanta. I personally think anything over $500 is too much for some music lol

    We paid $4300 in NYC for 6 hours from 7pm to 1 am. He had alot of screens and photobooth and smoke machines etc..

    I'm paying $1,100 for 7 hours and that includes lighting and mics in Charlottesville, VA.

    Washington D.C. $2600 for sound, wireless mics, uplighting, and reception music/DJ-ing for 7 hours, including setup.

    We are paying $3,200 in CT for the entire day. Includes basic dance floor lighting, indoor/outdoor speakers, etc.

    1275 for 6 hrs, but added photobooth so now the bill is 1975.

    Depends on the amount of hours and whats added in

    We paid around 1500 Pa/NJ area but that included

    5.5 hours of music (ceremony through end of the night)

    DJ as Emcee

    8 Uplights

    3 Hours of Photobooth

    2 Photobooth attendants

    Specialized graphic on the photobooth print out and a disc of all the photos for us.

    I'm in northcentral Pennsylvania and we paid $650 for 5 hours and $300 for the photo booth so $950 for both services.

    We are paying $1500 but that's a custom monogram, uplighting, two TVs that show an entrance video as well as slideshows during first dances and a live hashtag.
