diy reception centerpieces- Help!!!!

on August 24, 2019 at 8:35 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 16
I decided to make my own centerpieces since I couldn’t find anything we both “liked enough together”

We don’t want flowers in them
We don’t want them tall/ bulky
And we want to keep the cost decent..
PLEASE- any and all ideas welcome - I’ve been going crazy about it !!!

The bigger question is what is your theme? Color scheme? Pinterest has plenty of ideas when it comes to small center pieces. I made most of my center pieces but my theme is beauty and the beast so we had rose domes. I ordered majority of my wedding table stuff from efavormart.com. I bought a lot of my decorations for the wedding and bridal shower from them. The linens and overlays from them are great quality!

LOVE THAT THEME 💛💛 (Disney couple here too!) So our color scheme is grey, silver and midnight blue.. simple and elegant - Sinatra band -
I’ve been online- Pinterest- etc.. I’ve always made my own decorations for parties, events, but for some reason I just can’t decide for our wedding

Ok love the colors! What are you thinking, Grey as the main color, sliver as the accent color and then midnight blue as the pop on the tables? A grey table cloth with silver votive mercury candles, sliver charger plate would be nice! Then the midnight blue as the table napkin, maybe a midnight blue overlay table cloth. Center pieces would be pretty with floating candles, or a small flower arrangement. The colors are elegant as is so you wont need to stress over a crazy details. Candles are a must with the romantic feel espiecally with that band!

That's perfect! Yeah sliver centerpieces and a hint of blue will be a good touch. If you don't have many tables, go to the website I mention and look for over lays for the tables, they aren't expensive and good quality! You have good idea on everything!

Center piecediy reception centerpieces- Help!!!! 12

This is our flowerless centerpiece! The only thing missing is that we will have a little light at the bottom of the bowl, under the rocks that every other table will be blue and purple. I just have to wait until I can buy them on amazon. The mirror plate underneath will be the most expensive part, it's about $4-5 each. I got the fish bowls from someone on FB market place (18 for $5!). The votives and led candles are on sale at hobby lobby. Votives were $9.99 for 12 ct and candles $9.99 for 30 ct.

Mason jars all the way. They're ridiculously inexpensive. I used sand and a candle as well. I managed to keep my costs down to about $1 each

Dollar Tree--vases, candles, mirrors, sand, colored rocks, whatever you need to put together a beautiful centerpiece. I haven't put mine together yet, but most of the parts are coming from Dollar Tree online.
