diy printing help!

Jennifer, on December 6, 2019 at 5:00 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 4
Hi everyone!

I bought a template from Etsy for wedding website cards to send with our STDs.
It is a PDF file and keeps printing in a very light blue instead of black. I am losing my mind because I have tried everything I can think of to resolve it.
I have tried printing in grayscale, selecting "black ink only," unplugged my printer, changed the print quality. Nothing has worked. It has kept printing in light blue or prints nothing at all.
Both ink cartridges are new.
Has anyone else experienced this and/or know how to fix it?
This is how it is printing, but it should all be in black ink.

Hi Jennifer! I can’t tell 100% from the photo, but is your text “visit out website” showing up as black? In the file you bought from Etsy are both texts in black? Or are you converting the top one from a color?

    Hi Nikki,

Everything is black from the Etsy file and is printing out as a super light blue. It came as black in the template I purchased.

If you converted it to grayscale and it’s still blue it might be because the font is light or the Etsy person designed it with a lighter shade of black. I’ll try to PM you, I’m a graphic designer and could look at the file if you want to email it to me
