I really haven't given much thought to the topper, but FH mom and aunt are making the cake. They use to cater wedding, and make awesome cakes.

A bit of both. I found a cheap one at party city but it was silver and didn't match so I spray painted it gold to match.

DIY. We are doing mini bundt cakes for the guests so I will be DIY-ing toothpick stars in different colors to represent the different flavors available. For our cutting cake (an 8-inch bundt) I'm going to make something, I just haven't decided exactly what yet. Possibly a silhouette of a couple standing in front of a crescent moon.

I would love to have custom funko pops! I'm just struggling with justifying the price. I've seen a lot of different shops on etsy that do them. Which one did you order from?

Pro, but it was custom made to tweak the stock design a little bit.

The venue (their catering) is making the cake because its included in the cost. They are making the cake topper edible.

We got lucky and already had a little statue that we could use for our cake topper. It was purchased last Halloween 😉

This was my favorite DIY. It was inspired by some cake toppers I saw on Etsy, but I combined a few of the ideas into one design.
