It looks beautiful, but a big task for DIY. I would probably try to at least get the beads prestrung.

I would figure out how to make it, price all the individual pcs, and then price as a whole. I wanted to do something simular but it would have been $56-$70 per each. Manzanita branches are VERY expensive to ship.

My FMIL made branch centerpeices for my FSIL's wedding, they were gorgeous. I can't post picture from work, unless you can access them from here:

She used hydrangea branches from her back yard, and spent an age painting each one, and gluing beads, and glittery things to them. They turned out wonderful, and were a much cheaper alternative than the Manzanita branches

Yeah I made some. I would suggest you don't buy fake. Yes, the branches are bendable and they're a little cheaper if you do it right. But they're pretty 2D.

    Caroline: they are very pretty!

Carmen: where did you buy fake branches from?

I did some research, manzanita branches are fairly cheap on ebay....

Yes, the branches can be pricey. I am doing a variation with a client of mine - salal branches in tall pyramid vases (with sand inside to keep them stable. The stability of the base is the most difficult issue. I have set large branches in a bucket with cement (I used eucalyptus that time) I also have a metal tree that I bought from cristalier.com - it has its own base, folds flat for transport & is fireproof
