diy Flower Help (pic)

How can I make this look not crappy? Think it needs more greenery around the bottom? Is the purple clashing? Do they just look super fake? It's not right and I can't isolate the first thing to fix!

I would add more greenery and more ivory.

I agree with pp in that i would add more ivory. also if you can show some more photos of it at different angles, that could help us more in helping you as well

It looks like your main flowers are overpowering the filler. You need more greenery or maybe just pull the greenery you have out further to match the length of the big bulbs. Are you going for a round, posey, or nosegay type bouquet? Depending on what shape you want would be how to arrange and tie the flowers.

I agree with the others. More greenery and add some lighter flowers to give it more contrast. If you can, use flowers of varying sizes. It's a good start, just needs a little tweaking!

I would add a variety of greenery and some smaller flowers to add dimension through size difference, also the purple blends with the red so break the colors up in the middle more with more ivory/neutral flowers. You can see you did this on the left side of pic more then elsewhere and how it looks.

Are you going for a hand bouquet? Start out with laying the greenery in your hand stems sticking down, then place flowers between your thumb and poiter finger and keep turning it,keep adding alternating greenery, then flowers. the flowers are cut too short, in my opinion, all heads should be up like they are looking for sun. What are your wedding colors? You need something to soften it up..what month is your wedding? You need some accent colors, ribbon or greenery, again just my opinion.

Youtube, youtube, youtube! You can learn how to do ANYTHING online! I love the idea of DIY flowers; we're doing them for our cake table, guestbook/card box table, and bar top to offset the cost of real flowers for the ceremony and centerpieces.
