diy decor

My theme is rustic chic and my wedding is in February. The colors are gold, white, and emerald green. I am doing my own decor and am only using real flowers as bouquets here and there like on the sign in table, two big bouquets on two barrels, and areas as such to keep costs down. I am making my own bouquets for the ladies standing as well as boutonnières. I would like your thoughts on what I have so far. Half the tables will have the taller centerpiece and the other half the mason jar. There will be a deer antler with gold glitter dusted on for every table. The mason jar setup will have two gold stemmed candle holders with dark green tops ( one tall, one short) at the table. The tables with the tall arrangement will have smaller candle holders in gold. Every table will have a small double sided frame as well with a different engagement photo. This is what I am envisioning. The bouquet is made from wood flowers and they can be dyed any color. For my bouquet and the other girls I only paid $141! I tried to get creative so my wedding decor is unique, hopefully it is. Thank you in advance for any feedback!

I honestly wouldn’t do cotton or wheat sheaths for a February wedding. They scream late summer/ fall to me not really rustic. I do love that bouquet though!

My original idea was orchids, but it is too tropical.

Thank you! I spoke with an event planner and she actually threw the cotton idea out there because February is still considered a winter month so I feel like it will be okay. I wanted orchids, but she pointed it out that it was too tropical for the time of year. Lol I was like ohh yeahhhh hahaha I have my moments. Not only that, I have never been into the color pink so I knew my wedding would not be bright colors or anything in that category. This theme fits my personality so I feel like I am very comfortable with it.

That is the piece I have changed multiple times. I can’t figure out what to do hahaha it is frustrating me! I am set on the y’all center piece, but I am still playing with the mason jar.

I think it would look better without the cotton attached to the front of the jar. That's just my opinion though. Everything else looks great!

I agree with PP! I like your arrangements, only thing is I’d get rid of the cotton ornament on the front of the first one. It looks a tad busy with it, but without I think you’d be able to admire what’s inside more Smiley smile otherwise I really like what you’ve created!
