DIY Boudoir?

Are you going to try to actually take the pics yourself or have a friend do it? I would say try having a friend do it if there is someone that you would be comfortable with. It would probably be a little awkward trying to get the camera to work and pose at the same time!

You could always upload them into a photo site like Shutterfly and have them printed and sent to you. That way at least they are being printed in a warehouse somewhere and you don't have to look at the people when you got to pick them up!

That's a great idea! but i don't know how the h*$$ I'd do it. Shutterfly huh?? but if they're uploaded onto the computer then they're out there, on the internet, FOREVER!!! def something i don't want, lol.

You can have photos printed at costco via internet. You upload to a secure server, and they are there in an envelope for you to pick up. I think Ritz does that as well, but more $.

@Brian: I know.. I love you for your honesty, thank you But I think I might have to give it a try...it can't hurt. If it looks bad..it looks bad i guess, i won't go through with it..yaknow?

@Analy: looks like I have some reading to do! Thanks OH and do you think places like costco and ritz would be like, NO we're not printing this stuff? I know some places have rules about that.

@binx: yeah i'm a little scared of that too.. i dont want them to get leaked somewhere.. oh my gosh!

I printed mine there, and they were somewhat DIY. (Miya shot them) and they came out GREAT!

My sister took some for me years ago. Not too bad. But next time I do them I'm gonna go a lil more professional.

Yes do it!! i actually did this about three months ago for the same reason....fh is on deployment so i wanted to send him some sexy pin up/boudoir pics and he loved them....make sure you have good lighting and of course if you can touch them up..then do it...ill try to post one so you can see the outcome of it.....

Speaking as a big girl, I understand not wanting to get naked infront of a professional.... I've done my own, it's not easy and is a heck of alot easier if you have a girlfriend that will do it for you but it is entirely possible. I wouldn't worry too much about size cause I think your FS will just be tinkled pink to have them period. Good Luck!!!

Okay dont laugh...im very embarrassed to post an almost naked pic but obviously it isnt professional at all but it saved me some embarrassment and money

Oh and to answer Binx i think who said how will I do that pose and take pics.. i'd probably set the camera to burst and just pose fast..? I've no idea.. LOL i figure its worth a shot though. I have taken lots of photos of myself...as a big girl i am a firm believer in having some really great shots of myself so i just keep clicking til it works!

Just to add to your (and my own) gumption...DO IT! These are aldo DIY...albeit shot by a person.

Geeze Dabney, you look awesome! MsDarlin, what if you took the pics saved them on a jump drive then take it to one of those self serve printing stations at walmart, you just insert the jump drive and you can print the pics by yourself

I say go for it! if they dont look the greatest you not out a penny. just some time. but even then its something fun to try! i may have to ponder this idea myself. even though fh told me NOT to do it lol. i know he would like it when its said and done.

I had one of my friends take some photos of me as a birthday gift for FS...maybe that would be an option for you?? She actually took some good shots lol and seeing these other gorgeous ladies posted theres....**these are the unedited shots**
