DIY Boudoir?

There is NO WAY I could get even slightly nekkid in front of a photographer/stranger. However.... I was wondering if anyone has ever thought of/tried a DIY Boudoir shoot? OK, i know it sounds NUTS. But if I have a decent digital camera, and some good lighting (lots of floor lamps! LOL) maybe I could...

There is NO WAY I could get even slightly nekkid in front of a photographer/stranger. However.... I was wondering if anyone has ever thought of/tried a DIY Boudoir shoot? OK, i know it sounds NUTS. But if I have a decent digital camera, and some good lighting (lots of floor lamps! LOL) maybe I could pull out my livingroom couch, pull closed my white flowy living room curtains, put on something uber sexy and disrobe in front of the camera...I have a selphy and can print the photos myself, and put them in a sweet little album. I think boudoir pics are better when larger, so i would just hafto find a way to enlarge them myself without having to go to a pharmacy or walmart to get assistance with it. What do you think? Look, i'm not trying to put photogs outta business here.. i'm trying to just do something nice for my DH as part of a Grooms gift w/out breaking the bank. Does anyone know of anyplace you can enlarge photos in decent quality on the low? Also, what do u think of this idea?

    I posted the same type of question the other day. And I am happy to see some pictures in resopnse. I am not looking for flawless, just a decent picture that I do not have to feel embarassed taking. LOL. I did however say I would have FH take them and brian kindly pointed out where that may go awry. LOL

    btw you girls are all so brave (not to mention sexy ladies) Smiley smile

    I think it's totally doable! I'm hoping to have a friend take some for me. You can upload and order shots through Kodak online or Shutterfly or anything like that. That way you don't have to deal with whoever ends up printing your pics.

    Ok I use to work at a photo lab and I would advise you if you dont want them see dont take them into public. They WILL print them for you (as long as you cant see nipples & such) but everyone sees them. TRUST ME!!

    I think your idea is a very good idea. Having a friend to help would work out a lot better. I say if you want to enlarge them make an 8X10 off your personal printer. Just an idea. Smiley smile

    I had a friend do mine just as a test to see if I could get comfortable in front of a photographer and I tend to agree with Brian. Unless you or a friend is a good photographer and knows lighting they will look amateur... like mine. (oh dear, I can't believe I'm about ready to post this. PLEASE don't let any of my family stumble on this post... )

    If you are going to do a session I would have a pro do it. The whole experience is so amazing and tasteful!

    But I do offer an alternative option! You can send me photos of you with your favorite "sexy expression" I will then create your face and place it on a premade hot body form! No session needed! I am looking for some unique ideas for new designs and would be happy to waive the $35 custom design fee and create your dream image!
