Has anyone bought a plain dress and took it to someone to have things added to them? How was the experience? Any advice on the fabric of the dress and type of applique? There are soooooo many options!! PICS are a great plus

I have not done this BUT i have seen a ton of youtubers do this! a lot of them used some kind of glue to hold their appliques on it. but you can also hand sew it yourself if anything.

Properly applying appliques is very time consuming, and it may end up costing more than just buying a dress that already has appliques on it. Best bet would be to hand see it all on yourself, but beware it is a lot harder than it looks! Good luck!
