Disney World Escape Wedding

Tashiana, on June 27, 2017 at 3:16 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

I hope to be setting up my date for March soon with Disney Weddings since I am not sure when my FH will get vacation until October due to his job. Anyone on here wait until 6 months before their hoped wedding date to set up the date?

Disney escape wedding? Are you going to make your guests play games? I wouldn't like that being a grown adult.

FMB- what? Escape is one of the pricing tiers for Disney destination weddings. I think you're thinking of an escape room...

OP I'd talk to Disney about how much time you need to book in advance.

Disney told me they can plan in 3 weeks.. I was surprised by that. The Disney Escape Package is something we've discussed as well, but for the price of the Wedding Pavilion, I may as well have more guests and a full reception somewhere else. Unless things change drastically we're still looking at a beach wedding.

Also one down sir to the Escape Package is no reception. Smiley sad

Isn't that standard for a Disney escape wedding? 6 months? I think you'll be ok, although I would send out tentative save the dates to your guests. I know with the escape wedding you only get 18 guests so potentially you could just call them all and confirm that sometime in March would work for them so they have time to save if necessary. We are planning a wishes wedding for 2019. I hope you have a magical day!

March can be icky (says the bride getting married at Disney in March). But if you go early you can miss the crowds.
