I know there are some seriously amazing thrifty ladies on here that got incredible deals...but what was your ONE best deal that you got for your wedding? One only!!!

Mine: Our venue threw in 2 extra hours of open bar for free as a bonus. $2,250 value!

Holy Heck!! That is INCREDIBLE!! I was proud of myself for being so thrifty with my BM gifts. The canvas monogrammed totes were $9.95 each (normally $20), so I saved about $80 there, and my personalized tumblers (I see similar items for $10-$15 each on Etsy) I made for close to $3 each... so I saved about $160 or so all told.

    That's a GREAT deal!

Ours was our photographer for $650, two photographers from early morning to late in to the night at all our locations and an engagement shoot.

My biggest/best deal was my hair stylist. The deal was if 5 women got their hair done (which they did) I got my hair for free (she didn't even charge for the trial). I paid her a deposit at the trial which she returned the day of the wedding.

My photographer. $800 for 8 hours, USB drive of 500 edited pictures, and the option for printed pictures. She was a pro, just had been out of the country so she ran a 50% off deal to build her clients back up. She was AWESOME!!! My favorite vendor

DJ $600 for ceremony and reception. He's a friend and is very well-known around here for our type of music. He has played at nightclubs in NYC, NJ, ATL, Philly, DC, he does concerts and festivals outside of this country. He has done a few weddings but his specialty is larger crowds. He even performed with a few artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Wu-Tang Clan, Elephant Man, The Lox, The Clipse and The Game - If you know rap you should know who some of these artists are. Yup, I am super excited!!

Free DJ! He's a friend of FH's and offered to DJ for free, but we'll probably pay him a bit to show our thanks.

My photographer! He's still a student, so it's only $500. My FILs offered to pay for the photographer, and when I was like "okay, but it's expensive, so we will pay what you can't." When I told them the cost, they just laughed.

    Hard to pick!

I'd say my our photographers. They had just relocated from Austrailia and we're offering their services for a very deep discount. We paid $1250 for their top package, their lowest priced package is regularly $2900. I'm not sure what our package is now at full price but I'd guess around $4000 or more.

We saved on venue, DJ, free cake, free alterations and the guys suits were 30% off. Almost everything was discounted!

I got vases enough for 18 centerpieces. I got 18 crackle vases, 18 9 inch clear vases, and 36 small hurricane vases, 18 pillar battery operated LED candles, and a ton of battery operated votive candles. I got it all for $136. My friends daughter won a local festival Queen's pageant and at the end of her reign they have a Queen's Luncheon were other visiting festival Queen's attend. She had a ton of these vases. She kept 12 tall crackle vases for her older daughter's wedding and what she sold me she still had a lot left. She was like I get some of money back LOL. I priced the pillar battery operated candles at Hobby Lobby and they were $17 a piece. I got a great deal.

That is a really hard decision. I will have to say my hair though. I was planning on doing it myself, but my mom said I need to get it professionally done and set something up with her hair stylist. It was going to be $60 for the trial and the day of. Now I am not paying for anything. My mom grooms this ladies dogs and she works at a vet. So my mom got her heartgaurd at a discounted price and I am getting the trial and day of hair for free

My dress!!! Originally $2400 purchased at a sample sale for $1000 (plus $75 for cleaning). I had two other big ones but this is the one I was most excited about.

I'm getting maried at a castle so I got my DJ to drop his price about $400 less! Plus he is going above and beyond for me by providing me with a projector and screen for my slideshow I am planning to show during dinner! Also, I ordered all 6 of my bridesmaid robes for $140 which I felt like was a pretty good deal. I made my own centerpieces for about $1.50 each too. FH is getting the groomsmen personalized whiskey glasses for $10 each on etsy along with a can of coke and ky bourbon! Pretty cheap Smiley smile

Hmmm its hard to pick. I LOVE my invitations and they were super cheap! I wanted lace table clothes but they are expensive so I've been buying lace curtains and such at goodwill and will re-purpose them. Im using blue mason jars from my grandparents as my center pieces. Instead of buying flowers for my center pieces I bought a huge bag of wild flower seeds and planted them at my moms (fingers crossed they are ready in time). I think my cake lady is a steal and she is awesome! $500 for a 4 tier cake for 180 guest with 4 flavors plus a grooms cake that looks like a jack daniels bottle.
