Spinoff: WTF and Tattoos

I'm not sure the first photo was posted... Test 2.

I have 4 total, one on each hip and 2 on my back. I will be covering the ones on my back for the wedding though (out of respect for my Grandfather). But to touch on yesterdays post...one of my BMs has a large tattoo on her back and when she asked if she had to cover it I said heck no! I chose my BM's because I love who they are, which includes their ink.

I can't find many straight-up tattoos but here are some pics with some of them. I have a quarter sleeve with an airplane/clouds. I have 8 total. Yes - that's a huge jellyfish on my side/ribcage. That goes from bra line to panty line. I don't take many pictures of it due to chub so this picture is from like 5 years ago!

Aw thanks everyone for sharing. My biggest takeaway is that tattoos really are part of the person and not just a drawing on skin. The amount of symbolism and sentiment is really moving. Thanks again ladies!!!

My first tattoo! Simple and says my son's name. It's in my own handwriting as well. I am planning for more!

Here is mine. It represents all the hardships and struggles that I have endured and is a constant reminder that no matter what I will always rise again.

I have plans to get a few more but I am waiting until after the wedding. One will be a memorial tat for my dad. It will be his military dog tags exactly like they are. Another memorial tat for my brother and an autism tat for my 7 year old daughter. There is also a really bad ass side tat that I want but I don't know if I have the balls to get it done hahaha

@ JaKLyn - I LOVE your Harley & Joker tattoo! I have a Harley tattoo but the picture I have isn't a very good one.

I have 23 tattoos so far. After the wedding I'm planning on getting more. I don't have pictures of them all but but here's the ones I have.

First one is for my dad

Second is my Chinese zodiac sign (dragon)

Third is a tribal heart. I need to get it touched up, it got messed up while healing.

Second is a paw print that I got when my fur baby Crookshanks passed away

Third is nautical stars

I also have Betty Boop, Goofy, Ariel, Eeyore, a Capricorn sign, a crescent moon, the Red Sox symbol, a tribal design around my ankle, shark, dolphin, seahorse, Squit from Finding Nemo, and a fish. I think that's it.

Dang Ruth how do you function in those nails? I'd poke my eye out lol! @Bethie that jelly fish is bad ass!

During the ceremony and then the best view I have straight on are my progress photos from working out from when I bought my dress to my final fitting. I have a couple others not shown.

@ JCC to JCB - Believe it or not I can't function with short nails. I had my nails done short once and I couldn't do anything. I'm so used to having them long.

I missed the original post but here's mine! I want to add a sunflower but I am actually waiting til after the wedding to do it.

I have both of my forearms done. My left one has a whisk on it, the right has a teapot and rose. I also have my left thigh partially done, just needs color. It is a portrait of a mermaid with a squid in her hair. And I have an anchor on my left ankle.
