Good luck ~ have you been following the other DIY dress makers on here? Not sure if you have exchanged info and if you have been reaching out to them for tips.

So there ARE others out there diy their dresses. I think I'll look them up too.

I have a feeling I'm in way over my head, but how I can I not TRY when tulle is so cheap and I get an employee discount?!

There aren't many of us here that have done it, but was pretty plain and simple guess maybe that's just me though but it's still a work in progress. And I still have a few tricks up my sleeve.

Olivia! Been wondering about you. I like the sleeves. I can't remember, is that one pattern, or a combination of the two you showed me previously? I am still working on mine when I can, and still fighting that damn corset back, but I am getting closer. Did you ever find the right fabric?

@Julie, Its the combo of the two patterns I told you about before, I keep looking at other patterns but I ALWAYS come back to these two Smiley smile haha yeah that's why I've decided not to put a corset in mine they look too difficult! I thought I had decided on a fabric but then I decided not to do lace for the bottom ($230 for what I need), so now I have to pick a different fabric...

It's going to look beautiful! I am hoping to post some updated pics of mine soon. It's not the corset itself that seems to be the problem. I finally got that to look the way I want it to after ripping it out multiple times--but the back looks "saggy" for some reason and wants to pull to the right, even though its actually the same size on both sides. I've decided I'm just crooked--my regular clothes do the same thing. So, I made a sash that's nine inches wide and 12 feet long--my girls are gonna tie a giant bow over my big a$$ to cover any crookedness--and Rachel, if it still looks weird, I'll be draping the whole dam thing with 99 cent tulle. Ha Ha.
