Paying half for a BM dress

I think that if her presence in the wedding was important to me, and I had the money and she didn't, I definitely would! I think there's nothing wrong with it as long as she was gracious.

I agree with getting excited...It depends on who it was and what her situation was. She does need to say thank-you.

I paid FULL for just my MOH dress because it was really important to me that she be a part of our big day. She also had been fired from her job and had no money to pay for it herself.

My friend is coming from overseas so Im paying for hers but I'd also put in if one of my bridesmaids here couldnt afford her dress.

My grandma is making theres so they just have to pay for supplies ... like $40 each so Im going out on a limb to save them money adding alot of stress so that kinda counts?

I might pay half for my maid of honor's dress. She just had a baby in march, she goes to college, and lives in NYC (expensive), so if she can't afford the dress I pick out for her, FH and I already discussed that we might have to help her.

I am going to pay for my MOHs dress. its my sister but her daughter is my bridesmaid and her other daughter is the flower girl and im thinking her son is going to be the ring berrer(SP?) Thats a lot for her to pay for. i might pay for 2 of them. we will see when the time comes.

Hmmm if you REALLY need that person there and you have the $ sure why not... If it were going to take away from your budget then probably not
