Only 3 Days!! Ahh!!

Erin, on May 25, 2016 at 9:06 AM Posted in Planning 0 3

I can't believe how fast time is flying! We just moved into our apartment Monday and look forward to living together after Sunday, what an adventure! Wedding details are kind of all of the place but thankfully my aunt, who is coordinating everything, flys in from Boston today.

I know the day will be perfect but I check the weather for Sunday every day and it keeps saying scattered thunderstorms and showers. We don't have an outdoor wedding but would like some outdoor pictures... We just want a pretty day. Please send up a prayer or thought for us for a beautiful day if you think of it!

How's everyone else's planning and anticipation going? =)

The closer it draws to the day, the more calm I seem to become. I just feel like before I was so worried about every little detail, but now I couldn't give a crap.

I'm just so ready to be married at this point and hoping it doesn't rain for at least 30mins so we can have our ceremony in the garden. So I can sympathize with you on that front.

I'm having a hair and makeup trial this morning, woot woot! My mom is flying in tomorrow and my rehearsal dinner/birthday is on the 28th, as well as my bachelorette party that night.

Where are you getting married at?

Congratulations. Rainy weddings bring good luck. (In the dark ages, when couples eloped, rainy weather kept family/tribesmen from preventing the pronouncement of marriage. thus making it lucky for the couple.) Perhaps you can take pictures the day before or meet a day later. A really good photographer can edit out dark skies. Talk with him/her.

Either way, the main thing is that wonderful person you're standing in front of dedicating your life to. Nothing else really matters.

    Enjoy.
