I say that I'm not the "average" bride because...well...I'm not. I don't want a "run of the mill" wedding, and the hardest obstacle for me in the planning process is going to be my dress, because I know in my heart of hearts that I am going to be super picky.
I am having an October wedding with dark colors and a "Gothic" theme. I and my FH are way into the Gothic culture of the Middle Ages, and I want a ceremony that reflects our interests with a semi-modern twist. Tall order to fill, right? You'd think that after all my time in wedding planning, I wouldn't be so darn picky, but I have learned that this is the day for the bride and groom to shine, and whatever wish they want should be fulfilled.
Anyway, I could use some help from brides who are either planning a wedding with a similar theme or have already done a wedding like this. Photos, advice, etc. would be most appreciated, especially if it's dress-related. Thanks in advance!
