Did you actually stick them together?

Is there a way you can find plates of different sizes? the same idea you had but with a saucer, a salad, and a dinner plate? cause the tiers are really closed off this way

What, if anything, are you planning to put in place of the Christmas tree?

I agree with Judi, I think it'd be much better with different sized plates.

It's three plates held together by what appears to be Dollar Store candle holders covered in glitter or paint and topped with a Christmas tree. I'm assuming the July version will be quite different. What will that look like?

PS: It'll look a lot better if you use a large plate on the bottom, a medium plate in the middle, and a small plate on top.

What's the wedding one going to look like? I'm assuming no tree?

I just hope the glitter is sealed in with a thick layer of modpodge, or it WILL be all over the cupcakes.

I don't know about you, but as a guest I would NOT want little shards of plastic going through my intestines.

    It's a good start!

I would definitely use three different sizes of plates though.

Also use only one color glitter for each candlestick. The multicolor makes it looks sorta cheap and thrown together.

Excellent suggestion from MNA about a thick layer of modpodge over the glitter.

How tall is each layer? You don't want the cupcake frosting to touch the plate above.

I'd say back to the drawing board on that one.

I agree with different sized plates and please make sure the glitter is sealed with modge podge. What are you planning for the top for july?

Needs to be reworked right now but it's a starting point.

Different size plates progressively getting smaller/larger. More space in between each layer. Maybe cute monogrammed initials from etsy or something on top in place of the tree?

I don't know about glitter....it just makes it look like a kid's school project.

What about spray paint? I would stick to one color though.

And yes, different sized plates. Small, medium, large.

And yes I was also thinking thinking same thing after I got done with it I looked and thought of using the smaller plates I was thinkn exactly wat u had mentioned resizing the plates and lauryn I was thinking that to adding some kind of mono gram and using all one color and tryna find something else in place of the glitter just don't know wat to use yet and the wedding ones will be similar just all red or silver and tryna figure out for a top one and deff not a tree but that's for the ideas and opinions ladies and this is one reason why I love ww becuase everyone gives honest advice Smiley smile

I did a quick search on Pinterest and found this. It looks like a lot of people use cake boards and put empty tins covered in paper or fabric in between to get this effect. If you want more glitz you can use rhinestone mesh on the tins and a solid colored cake board. Just an idea I thought was cool!

I am with the others on this one you need different size plates. Also I think it may look better without glitter, how about making the entire thing glass? I am also slightly worried about a child tipping it over but a smaller plate on top will help with that

If you have a great baker, you won't notice the stand very much. It does look like it was made by an amateur unfortunately. I agree with the others that the plates should be different sizes. I would pick different pedestal pieces as well and not cover them in glitter. The glitter will come off into the food. Perhaps try a metallic spray paint?

You do realize that super glue won't bong glass very well. Nothing will, for that matter, but if you insist on going this route, your best bet is E6000.
