Love DIYs but hard to get motivated...

Haha where were you during my diys? i hate hot gluing, but can do diys like crazy. i had moments of non motivation, but mine were because i was scared they wouldn't turn out perfect. and seeing others diys made me a little nervous bc they were soooo beautiful. i finally got down to the wire and said "i have to get this stuff done" and once i was in the middle of it, i ended up having a good time. i did set up a certain day off for wedding stuff. that helped bc i wasn't trying to diy after work...and i knew that day i could set up diys, appts, etc bc it was wedding day

I am great at designing it, but putting it together with the hot glue gun or cutting things in a straight line kicks my butt. My old tart hands don't want to cooperate so I have had many battles with the hot glue gun, and the burns on my hands are the proof. : )

To get motivated, I pick a day and put it on the calendar. I treat it like an appointment. For intance, today, I have an appointment to battle my glue gun.
