Ha!that happened to me once when someone gave me part of a gift I gave them a few years prior. She did it in person and I just smiled and said thank you. These are the things in life better laughed off. You have the right attitude!

I've had worse. At one point, I gave my mother a book, and inscribed it to her. My next birthday, she regifted it to me, still with my inscription in it.
