Is Gold Wedding Bands Old Fashion or Played Out?

I honestly think it depends on the people BUT i think they are and i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee gold but my fh got me a white gold ring that i loveeee....i say white gold is def in now...

There are still plenty of options for gold wedding bands and rings. I have seen them around. Where are you looking?

@ Rachel yea there are few but i went ring hunting for my fh and i barely seen any gold wedding rings a lot of white gold and platinum

White gold seems to be more the fashion right now. However, remember that you will be wearing your wedding ring for a long time, and fashions come and go. I'd say to get what you want, and not worry about whether it is fashionable this year.

I took my own advice. Here is a picture of NotFroofy's and my wedding rings. Both were originally made during the 1930s. If you're having trouble finding a ring for your fh, you might consider looking at vintage rings.

I love white gold. But, if you want gold, get it!

Often, jewelry stores will have the white gold on display, because it is more popular, but they could likely order the same rings in gold, you just have to ask.

I want Gold, but there aren't a lot of choices.. But there are so many Gorgeous White Gold, so I'm confuse...I'll post them for you! I could care less about 'trends', this is something that is supposed to be on my finger the rest of my life, not just change it in a decade when it's 'out of style'. I've never liked gold, just not my colour, so my ring is white gold, not because it's the in thing, but because I love it, and will in 30 years.

There are a lot of yellow gold ones available. Check out this eBay link, for starters. And that's just the men's ones.

I have white gold but when we went shopping there were a lot of rings in yellow gold and thse shown in white gold could be ordered in yellow. Just ask and see what they have to say.

Or you could look into having your rings special made. Then you could choose yellow gold right away...just a thought.

I personally don't like yellow gold at all and neither does FH so our rings will be white gold. That being said, my sister loves yellow gold and I buy her jewelry often in yellow gold.

We have been looking at Zales for rings and I have seen some really nice yellow gold ones. Check out the Zales outlet website they have some choices also trying googling yellow gold wedding bands. My FH's jeweler he has used for years will pretty much make us anything we want if we tell him what we are looking for. Do you have some jewelers that would make a band for you? We have to get my band made bc of my custom e-ring, and I'm pretty sure we are going to need to get FH ring made bc he likes diamonds and what I've seen so far isn't what he is looking for.

I went with what color jewelry i normally wear, which is silver. I dont feel like gold works well on me, so i always wear jewelry. I've seen both done, It's not out of fashion! and you look , from your picture, a person that gold would work on. I'd do whatever you like best!!

It's a matter of preference. I personally favor white gold more, which is why my jewelry is white gold. However,if you prefer the yellow gold, there's nothing wrong with that!
