How are you being annouced at the reception?

Im going to be annouced as Mr and Mrs. Rayburn Reed.

Its all up to you and your fh, anyway is fine. I love Rayburn's name so i want that to be part of our annoucement

We'll be introduced as Patrick & Danielle ________. I may be giving up my last name, but I still get to keep my first!

Hmm... interesting question... I'm keeping my last name, so I'm not really sure on this one.

Amy & Dave _______ most likely. Just because Mr. and Mrs. Amy & Dave _______ gets a little clumsy. And I really don't like the Mr & Mrs Dave ______. i still have a name, thank you very much. :-)

Hmm...I'm still confused as to which way to go. @L. Turtle — I guess if you are keeping your name they could say something like...."Introducing as Mr. and Mrs. for the first time, Here is (First Name) & (First Name)!"

Seeing as that we are not having a DJ... we might have a family member do it... but if it were to happen just Mr. and Mrs. ________

I agree with Danielle and almostmarried... I still have a name!!! So ours will say Mr. and Mrs. Timothy & Chelsea _____.

Ours is a military wedding so we'll be announced following his rank which actually sounds really clunky in my opinion. Something to the effect of "Introducing Staff Sergeant and Ms. [his first name] [our last name]" We may tweak that a bit lol

"The Newlyweds!" I'm hyphenating so any other way sounds weird to me.

@L. Turtle: You might want to consider something like, "The newly married couple, L. Turtle and John Smith." Given the number of people who will just assume you have changed your name, a reminder that you have not could be helpful.

I'm trying to remember. I think it was Mr&Mrs. Kellerman. We were just focusing on not tripping as we ran in excited.

I want Mr and Mrs. Last name. I'm NOT Mrs. His first name, our last name. I'm still a person!
